Master of Divinity

The Masters of Divinity is a three-year graduate program for university graduates and a two-year graduate program for Bible College graduates. This program is designed to prepare students for the professional ministries of the local church .Christian Organizations and Theological Institutions All students follow a core curriculum ministry studies. In additional to the regular core set each student can choose an optional concentration in one of the following areas:

  1. Pastoral Ministries
  2. Pastoral Counselling
  3. Missions
  4. Christian Leadership
  5. Community Development

The objective of the Master of Divinity program is that the students will:


  • Demonstrate a competent knowledge of biblical content
  • Use Biblical Hebrew or Greek for a greater understanding of the Scriptures
  • Develop the knowledge and skills in the interpretation and application of Scripture
  • Understand theological doctrine within various theological systems
  • Develop an understanding of the nature of the church, its philosophy, ministry and mission
  • Understand how to live, work, communicate and minister effectively


  • Sustain abiding convictions of the relevance and applicability of Scriptures to all aspects of life
  • Appreciate and value the diversity of gifts and ministries in the church
  • Cultivate a maturing spirituality
  • Reinforce their motivation to accomplish the will of God

  • Integrate theoretical concepts with spiritual principles.
  • Model interpersonal skills
  • Function effectively in the chosen area of church ministry
  • Preach and teach effectively
