He Who Shine Upon Us

He Who Shine Upon Us

Heart of a Child

This morning I woke Blythe (my daughter) up and while she’s not even sober to really comprehend what is going on the hand this to me, I’m still laying in my bed. She said

“This is for you mi. I made this for you” rubbing her eyes.
I’m touched beyond comprehension.

She held this thing through the night and I’m sure it’s the most important thing to her at that point coz she handed to me the moment she wakes up.

The Father’s Heart

God opened my eyes and heart to let me get a glimpse of how He feels when thinking of Him is our priority.
It doesn’t matter how small but that thought itself is enough to bring Him joy. A proud Dad.

As she walk pass me she added this

“I bought the beads with the lunch money you gimme and sorry Mommy they don’t have B, they only left with R”

You skipped lunch for me?! I have a thunder-lightning revelation. The widow that gives her two pennies. But to Him, it’s more than enough because she’s giving all that she has.
It gives me such relief.

Mark 12:41-44

  1. 42 But a poor widow came and put in two very small copper coins, worth only a few cents.
  2. 43 Calling his disciples to him, Jesus said, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put more into the treasury than all the others. 44 They all gave out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in everything—all she had to live on.”

My God doesn’t need me to give what I do not have, however insignificant.. it’s all He requires. My heart, my all. Our all.

Just as We are

I had a good laugh.

So Blythe bought this with my money, colours that she likes that I hated to core and hot glue rubber band…not even my initial.

I LOVE IT. Every bit of it.

Because she uses what I provide for her expect her to have fun but she chose to give back to me.

If I as an earthly mother appreciate her uniqueness and this little gesture, I bet our Dad in heaven is beaming ever harder when we use what He already deposited in us and make conscious choices to give Him instead of to our own desires.

Exodus 35:10

10 “All who are skilled among you are to come and make everything the LORD has commanded:

Not only that, we can give back to our own uniqueness.
When the sinful woman pours out the perfume on Jesus, it is all she knows, it’s all she had.

While everyone is giving nasty comments, Jesus sees and feel her…
He made everyone know she anointed Him until the end of time. A sinful woman, worship God, recorded in scripture, remembered and honored eternally.

Luke 7:44

  1. 44 Then he turned toward the woman and said to Simon, “Do you see this woman? I came into your house. You did not give me any water for my feet, but she wet my feet with her tears and wiped them with her hair.
  2. 45 You did not give me a kiss, but this woman, from the time I entered, has not stopped kissing my feet.
  3. 46 You did not put oil on my head, but she has poured perfume on my feet.
  4. 47 Therefore, I tell you, her many sins have been forgiven—as her great love has shown. But whoever has been forgiven little loves little.”

This is the God you serve fellow Christians.

Aren’t you glad?

Because I am.

I’m small, I’m nothing. He sees me.
