Bachelor of Theology

The Bachelor of Theology is a three-year course of study designed for those who intend to be fully equipped as pastor, missionaries and church workers. This program focuses in biblical and theological studies.
The objective of the Bachelor of Theology is that the student will:

Cognitive:

  • Demonstrate a basic knowledge of biblical content
  • Use Greek or Hebrew for a greater understanding of the Scripture
  • Understand theological doctrines within various theological systems

Affective:

  • Cultivate a growing relationship with God, stimulating themselves and others to spiritual maturity
  • Sustain abiding convictions of relevance and applicability of Scripture to life
  • Grow in deepened worship and walk with God, obedience to Christ, and responsiveness to the Holy Spirit

Life and Ministry Skills:

  • Exegete the Scripture in order to expound and apply them accordingly
  • Model interpersonal skills
  • Communicate effectively
  • Apply biblical principles to life’s situations
  • Function effectively in the chosen area of church ministry and able to do independent research
