Welcome!

Welcome to the English Service! We gather every Sunday in the Main Sanctuary at 11.00am to celebrate and give thanks to our God for our lives and all the blessings He has given us. If you’re looking for a church, or just visiting, or you are really seeking for the one true God, we welcome you to this place so that we can bless you and you can be a blessing to us! Read our history. We also have a service catered to Young Adults on Saturdays 5.30pm in KAOG@Metro.

What are the people like?

Our weekly attendance is more or less 300 people, however we’re looking to reach up to 400 people every week, so what are you waiting for? Come and make the difference! The people in this church are made up of all age groups and all walks of life. We have from the very old to the very young. So you will surely fit in somewhere.

What happens during a service?

If you’re unfamiliar with what goes on in church, read on! Basically, the service starts off with singing. Why do we sing? We just want to worship and sing songs of praise to our God in Heaven, because we Love Him and want to exalt His name. If that sounds really weird to you, don’t worry about it. If you just join in the singing, you will truly enjoy it. That’s because you’re not just singing to yourselves, you are connecting with God even as you sing and worship Him, He is going to touch your heart and you are going to feel His presence! How awesome is that? Come with an expectant heart and you will see great things happen! After the singing, we will usually give out bags and ask for offerings. Why is the offering important to us? Basically, it’s according to what was written in the Bible, that those who attend a particular church shall give a portion of their earnings back to God. After all, we believe that everything we have is from God. This is also an extremely practical way of supporting the church operations such as the different ministries, the missions, the outreach churches we support etc. It is through this generous giving from the members and worshippers in the church that the church can grow and stand till this day! Besides that, of course, there will be a speaker.  Every week, we have pretty much a different speaker and they are made up of our Pastoral and Leadership team. Get a taste of the sermons online. If you came alone, and you can’t understand what is being said, just grab hold of the person next to you and ask. We will surely explain to you. After the sermon, we have a short prayer and more singing, and then we are dismissed. If you are new to our church, we would really love to meet you. Do stay back after service and our hospitality team will meet and greet you. Once a week, we also serve some food in the Refreshment Hall right at the back of the building.

What else do we do apart from Sundays?

Yes, Christians don’t just meet on Sundays. In fact throughout the week, we have various activities going on! Our church is a cell based church. Basically, the various cell groups run simultaneously every Friday night. Check out which cell you can attend here! Every first Saturday of the month, in the morning at 6.30am, we have a short prayer meeting in the sanctuary. It is what we call Morning Watch. Every week, a different Cell zone is put in charge of the meeting. For us, Prayer is very important and Powerful, we believe Prayer changes things.Besides that, we also offer many short Bible study classes. It is what we call ICGM (Institute of Christian Growth Ministry)Usually a few classes run at different times throughout the week.Throughout the year we have many other major activities going on, like major seminars, outings, camps, etc. Check back often in the Recent News section to find out more.

How can I be a part of this church?

You just need to come! If you have a great desire to serve, there are many ministries you can choose from. Just pray about what is right for it and give it a go! We always need more people like you in the ministries. Of course, if you think that this church is for you, then you can sign up to be an official member of the church.
